Juliette B. Abernethy began to study Yoga, 15 years
ago, following an injury that interrupted her ballet dance-training
career with the Opera de Paris and the San Francisco Ballet Company.
She went on to study yogic kinesiology, physiology, psychology, and
philosophy as well as Chinese Medicine both in France and in the United
States.

Over the years, Juliette has refined a unique teaching style. It is
tonic yet gentle approach which is based on precise alignment, advanced
strengthening and stretching techniques. She integrates some of the
most efficient yogic methodologies such as Antonin Stanislavsky's Western
Yoga (The Actor Studio, NYC), B.K.S Iyengar, Integral Yoga (Swami Satchidananda),
Master Yoga (Rama Berch/Deepak Chopra ), Acu-Yoga (Michael Garch), Structural
Yoga Therapy (Mukunda Stiles).
As a private and corporate Yoga Instructor, Juliette has been dedicated
to impart her yogic experience and practice to beginning and advanced
students in a safe, professional and compassionate atmosphere. She teaches
poses, voice toning, meditation and breathing practices. In addition,
she concentrates on indentifying the physical and psychological tensions,
caused by various stress factors, steadying and softening the body and
the mind, so that they may be allowed to be released.
In addition, Juliette is preparing to offer classes on the psychological
aspect of Yoga, referred to as Raja Yoga, essential, to a thriving practice.
She is available for group and private sessions.
