
Xavier Alexander Powell graduated from San Francisco State in
1985 with a dual degree in commercial art and economics. His love for
fitness and body building began while he was in high school playing
basketball and baseball.
Xavier earned his personal training certificate in cardiovascular conditioning
and nutritional counseling in 1983. After earning his certificate, Xavier
worked for Family Fitness Center as a Personal Trainer from 1983 to
1985 and Gold's Gym from 1985 to 1986, when he decided to pursue his
modeling career.

During his modeling career, Xavier worked as a body model where being
in great shape was a must. Xavier was the first man of color to land
the cover of Men's Fitness Magazine and was Puma's man
of choice for more than three years.
Xavier has been a professional fitness trainer for more
than twenty years. He has exceptional knowledge in the fields of bodybuilding
and body-sculpting, nutrition and supplements. He has trained with professional
body builders, such as, Michael Southwick, Aldo Holmes, and Kelly Dobbins.
Xavier's goal is to teach life long techniques that challenge your
mind, body and spirit. He has worked with a variety of clients, from
beginners to professional trainers. He believes in giving his clients
knowledge about their body's strengths and weakness so as to design
a training regimen to meet their fitness goals for a lifetime.
